OUR STORY
An institutional hallmark for almost a century
The origin of RCM dates back to 1934, and in 1990 when the reins of the company fell into the hands of the enterprising Mr. Rajat Jaipuria, he ushered in a wave of change. Passionate about sustainability and green solutions, he gradually converted all aspects of manufacturing to a new model of sustainable textile production. Today, all of RCM's production and exports run sustainably. The company uses only organic cotton and recycled, sustainable raw materials in its production process. All its production facilities are certified as per international sustainable textile and fair trade standards. In fact, RCM has become one of the largest manufacturers and exporters of ethically sourced, organic and Fairtrade certified tailor-made products in India.

HOW WE MAKE MATTERS
Supporting sustainable production beyond fiber and fabric.
RCM is committed to an ethical and environmentally beneficial approach in all aspects of business. Our goal is to consistently strive to minimise the environmental impact of our production and trade and to benefit every person involved in the process – from the cotton collector in the field to the product packager at the facility.
ENVIRONMENT
RCM products are certified under GOTS (Global Organic Textile standard). Textiles are made from certified organic cotton and dyed using low impact certified dyes. No heavy metals, chlorine, dangerous Azo dyes, or banned chemicals are used.
SOCIAL
We are certified under Fairtrade International and Fairtrade USA standards. RCM has facilitated fairer terms of trade and market access for the most marginalised stakeholders in the garment supply chain in India.
